Who we are

Almost 30 years ago, Hape Aviation & Marine Service was founded by Harry Poortman. After a long time gaining experience in the maritime sector, it was time for his own company. A company with it’s focus on creating and developing (fly)safety equipment for civilian, marine, police, aviation or military use. In 2025 the company has been taken over by Melanie Hartog. She brings a lot of experience from her own clothing production company. Her family business has been producing everything in the Netherlands as well from the start in 1985. Just as Hape Aviation & Marine Service has always done.

Quality, customization, speed and a high level of service, that is what we stand for. As a professional workwear manufacturer we choose to produce in the Netherlands to ensure the highest quality of our products. Customized is also our strength, all orders can be made according to specific needs and sizes.
