Who we are

Almost 30 years ago, Hape Aviation & Marine Service was founded by Harry Poortman. After a long time gaining experience in the maritime sector, it was time for his own company. A company with it’s focus on creating and developing (fly)safety equipment for civilian, marine, police, aviation or military use. After years of running this business as a sole proprietor, in 2017, daughter Anke came into the company. From an early age she learned about the business and additionally she brings experience in marketing, sales and communication.

Quality, customization, speed and a high level of service, that is what we stand for. As a professional workwear manufacturer we choose to produce in the Netherlands to ensure the highest quality of our products. Customized is also our strength, all orders can be made according to specific needs and sizes. And whether it’s a small or large order, we manufacture everything according to the wishes of the customer. Finally, our fast and customer-friendly service is something we have been known for for years.
